The cafe started it's life as two separate entities. One half was 'Dolls', a clothes boutique owned by our sister, Petria; the other half, a small but cosy cafe. After a couple of years, Petria's life took her in a different direction to Brooklyn and we inherited her part of the building to expand our business. Now we had more space for customers but our kitchen space was still tight. Over the past couple of years Bibi’s has evolved. We now seat 38 people inside and more in the warmer months, with tables outside. The two rooms are a quiet but eclectic mix. The shelves are full of a wide range of cookery books, there are still remnants of the clothes boutique and we still have one or two Christmas decorations up...just because we like them!
